For as long as I can remember, Water lilies have been a favorite flower of mine, especially the one’s I see in a rustic pond out in the wild. Long before I knew about Claude Monet’s famous water lily paintings, I was somehow drawn to these flowers which were quite common in India. I grew up drawing the lotus as a kid, since that is the National flower of India, and which looks very similar to water lilies but in reality there are quite a few differences.

Size and Materials: Made with acrylic paints on Gallery wrapped canvas, this painting measures 20”x 10”.

The painting is unframed but varnished with a protective layer so that colors stay vibrant for years’.
